Article R6241-3 of the French Public Health Code

For the offences mentioned in 4°, 9° and 11° of Article L. 6241-1, the Director General of the Regional Health Agency may order the immediate suspension of the right to practise of the medical biologist, the biologist in charge, the biologist with joint responsibility or the qualified specialist in anatomy and pathological cytology with joint responsibility for the medical biology laboratory. The procedure provided for in articles L. 4113-14 or L. 4221-18 is applied depending on the status of the professional concerned.

Pour les infractions mentionnées aux 4°, 9° et 11° de l’article L. 6241-1, le directeur général de l’agence régionale de santé peut prononcer la suspension immédiate du droit d’exercer du biologiste médical, du biologiste-responsable, du biologiste-coresponsable ou du médecin spécialiste qualifié en anatomie et cytologie pathologique coresponsable du laboratoire de biologie médicale. Il est fait application de la procédure prévue aux articles L. 4113-14 ou L. 4221-18 suivant la qualité du professionnel concerné.
