Article R6311-18-4 of the French Public Health Code

For the purposes of this section, the term “médecin régulateur” (medical regulator) refers to the doctor responsible for the telephone regulation service provided for in 1° of article R. 6123-1 or the doctor responsible for the medical coordination of the Paris fire brigade in his area of responsibility.

Au titre de la présente section, on entend par médecin régulateur le médecin assurant la régulation téléphonique prévue au 1° de l’article R. 6123-1 ou le médecin de la coordination médicale de la brigade de sapeurs-pompiers de Paris sur son secteur de compétence.
