Article R6312-24 of the French Public Health Code

The authorisation instituted by article L. 6312-2 is issued at the request of the natural or legal person operating a private air medical transport company, provided that :

1° It has previously provided proof that it is in compliance with the provisions of the Civil Aviation Code ;

2° The aircraft used for this transport meet the minimum standards set out in articles R. 6312-25 to R. 6312-27;

3° The company’s organisation ensures the presence of a doctor or, failing this, a nurse for all medical transport.

Article R6312-24

L’agrément institué par l’article L. 6312-2 est délivré sur la demande de la personne physique ou morale qui assure l’exploitation d’une entreprise privée de transports sanitaires aériens, dès lors que :

1° Elle a préalablement justifié de sa situation régulière vis-à-vis des dispositions du code de l’aviation civile ;

2° Les aéronefs utilisés à ces transports répondent aux normes minimales figurant aux articles R. 6312-25 à R. 6312-27 ;

3° L’organisation de l’entreprise assure, pour tout transport sanitaire, la présence d’un médecin ou, à défaut, d’un infirmier ou d’une infirmière.
