Article R6312-26 of the French Public Health Code

Inside a helicopter, the sick or injured person must be able to be transported with a medical attendant. The attendant must have easy access to all parts of the body of the person being transported.

A minimum space requirement of 0.500 cubic metres is allowed for the installation of medical equipment.

A l’intérieur d’un hélicoptère, le malade ou le blessé doit pouvoir être transporté avec un accompagnateur médical. L’accompagnateur doit pouvoir accéder facilement à toutes les parties du corps de la personne transportée.

Un encombrement minimum de 0,500 mètre cube est prévu pour l’installation du matériel médical.
