The protocol referred to in Article R. 6431-77 defines in particular, in compliance with the regulations to which the prison is subject:
– the conditions under which the staff of the health agency systematically examine prisoners arriving at the prison and provide them with routine and, where appropriate, specialist care, particularly in the form of consultations ;
– the conditions under which prisoners have access, for consultations or medical and technical examinations, to the medical equipment located in the health agency;
– the procedures for implementing the preventive and health education measures referred to in article R. 6431-76 ;
– the conditions under which the health agency establishes and archives patients’ medical records;
– the arrangements for regular consultation between the prison and the health agency on the conditions for applying the protocol;
– the terms and conditions for the payment of expenses to be reimbursed to the healthcare agency by the prison;
– the conditions under which the prison administration ensures the safety of people and property on the premises of the healthcare agency.
