The commission may, on a proposal from the Minister of Justice, withdraw the honorary status of a former judge of a commercial court under the conditions set out in articles L. 724-1, L. 724-3, L. 724-5, L. 724-6, R. 724-11 to R. 724-17 and R. 724-19.
The chairman of the commission may also, under the conditions set out in articles L. 724-4, R. 724-18 and R. 724-19, temporarily prohibit a former member of a commercial court from availing himself of honorary status.
The provisions of the two preceding paragraphs do not apply when the interested party definitively renounces his claim to honorary status by means of a written declaration addressed to the Minister of Justice, or to the President of the National Disciplinary Commission of Commercial Court Judges if the matter has already been referred to the latter.
