The competent authority may terminate the placement under mobile electronic surveillance at any time, in particular if the foreign national fails to comply with the requirements associated with his or her house arrest or placement, in the event of technical malfunction of the remote location device or if the implementation of this device presents disadvantages for the foreign national’s health certified by an approved doctor designated by the competent authority. At the foreign national’s request, this designation is automatic.

L’autorité compétente peut à tout moment mettre fin au placement sous surveillance électronique mobile, notamment en cas de manquement de l’étranger aux prescriptions liées à son assignation à résidence ou à son placement, en cas de dysfonctionnement technique du dispositif de localisation à distance ou si la mise en œuvre de ce dispositif présente pour la santé de l’étranger des inconvénients attestés par un médecin agréé désigné par l’autorité compétente. A la demande de l’étranger, cette désignation est de droit.
