Article R741-13 of the French Consumer Code

When the judge pronounces a personal recovery order without compulsory liquidation, a notice of the order is sent for publication in the Bulletin officiel des annonces civiles et commerciales (Official Bulletin of Civil and Commercial Announcements) by the court registry. This publication includes the full name of the debtor, his date of birth, the number of the department in which he resides, the date of the judgment, an indication of the court that handed it down and the registry to which declarations of third-party opposition by unnotified creditors must be sent, as well as the time limit within which such declarations must be made. It shall be made within fifteen days of the date of the judgment.

Lorsque le juge prononce un rétablissement personnel sans liquidation judiciaire, un avis de celui-ci est adressé pour publication au Bulletin officiel des annonces civiles et commerciales par le greffe. Cette publication comporte les nom et prénoms du débiteur, sa date de naissance, le numéro du département de sa résidence, la date du jugement, l’indication du tribunal qui l’a rendu et du greffe auquel doivent être adressées les déclarations de tierce-opposition des créanciers non avisés ainsi que le délai dans lequel celles-ci doivent être formées. Elle est effectuée dans un délai de quinze jours à compter de la date de la décision.
