Article R742-9 of the French Consumer Code

Without prejudice to the notification of the opening judgment to the parties, a notice of this judgment is sent, for publication in the Bulletin officiel des annonces civiles et commerciales, by the agent or, in the absence of an agent, by the registry. This publication shall be carried out in the same way as provided for in article R. 741-13. It is made within fifteen days of receipt of the judgment by the agent or, if there is no agent, from the judgment.

Sans préjudice de la notification du jugement d’ouverture aux parties, un avis de ce jugement est adressé, pour publication au Bulletin officiel des annonces civiles et commerciales, par le mandataire ou, à défaut de mandataire, par le greffe. Cette publication est effectuée selon les mêmes modalités que celles prévues à l’article R. 741-13. Elle s’effectue dans un délai de quinze jours à compter de la réception du jugement par le mandataire ou, en l’absence de mandataire, à compter du jugement.
