Article R744-32 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

An annual meeting on the operation of detention facilities is organised on the initiative of the Minister for Immigration, with the authorised associations and the relevant government departments. The minutes of this meeting, drawn up jointly, are made public.
The territorially competent Prefect or, in Paris, the Police Prefect organises meetings at regular intervals on the operation of detention facilities with associations with representatives authorised to access detention facilities in the department and the departments concerned.

Une réunion est organisée annuellement sur le fonctionnement des lieux de rétention à l’initiative du ministre chargé de l’immigration, avec les associations habilitées et les services de l’Etat concernés. Le compte rendu de cette réunion, établi conjointement, est rendu public.
Le préfet territorialement compétent ou, à Paris, le préfet de police organise à intervalles réguliers des réunions sur le fonctionnement des lieux de rétention avec les associations ayant des représentants habilités à accéder aux lieux de rétention du département et les services concernés.
