Article R754-6 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

When the foreign national hands over his asylum application to the depositary authority, the latter shall record the date and time of handover in the register referred to in Article L. 744-2.

Lorsque l’étranger remet sa demande d’asile à l’autorité dépositaire, celle-ci enregistre la date et l’heure de la remise sur le registre mentionné à l’article L. 744-2.
