Article R811-4 of the French Consumer Code

Applications for approval and renewal shall be sent to the directorate responsible for population protection at the association’s head office.
The composition of the file and the procedures for its examination shall be laid down by joint order of the minister responsible for consumer affairs and the minister of justice.
When the file submitted to the administration is complete, the latter shall acknowledge receipt.

Les demandes d’agrément et de renouvellement sont adressées à la direction chargée de la protection des populations du siège social de l’association.
La composition du dossier et les modalités d’instruction sont fixées par arrêté conjoint du ministre chargé de la consommation et du ministre de la justice.
Lorsque le dossier remis à l’administration est complet, celle-ci en accuse réception.
