Article R811-7 of the French Consumer Code

Authorisation may be withdrawn following the opinion of the public prosecutor, when the association no longer has the number of members required for its authorisation, when it can no longer justify the activity defined in article R. 811-1 or where it is established that it is no longer independent of any form of professional activity, with the exception of associations emanating from cooperative societies mentioned in article L. 811-2.

Article R811-7

L’agrément peut être retiré après avis du procureur général, lorsque l’association n’a plus le nombre d’adhérents requis pour son agrément, lorsqu’elle ne peut plus justifier de l’activité définie à l’article R. 811-1 ou lorsqu’il est établi qu’elle n’est plus indépendante de toutes formes d’activités professionnelles, à l’exception des associations émanant de sociétés coopératives mentionnées à l’article L. 811-2.
L’association doit être au préalable mise à même de présenter ses observations.
