Article R814-141 of the French Commercial code

A member who is temporarily banned or provisionally suspended may not engage in any professional activity for the duration of the ban or suspension, but during the same period retains his status as a member with all the rights and obligations arising therefrom, with the exception of his entitlement to professional profits.

L’associé interdit temporairement ou suspendu provisoirement ne peut exercer aucune activité professionnelle pendant la durée de la mesure d’interdiction ou de suspension, mais conserve pendant le même temps sa qualité d’associé avec tous les droits et obligations qui en découlent, à l’exclusion de sa vocation aux bénéfices professionnels.
