The National Consumer Institute is administered by a Board of Directors made up of fifteen members with voting rights:
1° Five representatives of consumers and users appointed by the Minister responsible for consumer affairs;
2° Five representatives of the State, appointed jointly by the Minister responsible for the economy and the Minister responsible for consumer affairs;
3° Two representatives elected by the staff of the National Consumer Institute, under the conditions laid down by the loi n° 83-675 du 26 juillet 1983 relative à la démocratisation du secteur public ;
4° Le président de la commission des clauses abusives, ainsi qu’un représentant du collège des professionnels du Conseil national de la consommation et un ingénieur des corps de l’Etat désigné par le ministre chargé de la consommation.
