Article R93-2 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The remuneration and compensation of experts appointed under the procedures provided for in articles L. 3211-12 to L. 3211-12-6 L. 3213-3, L. 3213-8 and L. 3213-9-1 of the Public Health Code, which form part of the expenditure mentioned in 1° of I of l’article R. 93 of this code, shall be liquidated in accordance with the conditions set out in article R. 117. The judge may leave the expert’s remuneration and compensation to be paid by the State.

Article R93-2

La rémunération et les indemnités des experts désignés dans le cadre des procédures prévues aux articles L. 3211-12 à L. 3211-12-6 L. 3213-3, L. 3213-8 et L. 3213-9-1 du code de la santé publique, qui font partie des dépenses mentionnées au 1° du I de l’article R. 93 du présent code, sont liquidées selon les conditions prévues à l’article R. 117. Le juge peut laisser la rémunération et les indemnités de l’expert à la charge de l’Etat.
