Chapter III: The Registry.

The handing over to the court registry of a copy of a pleading or document is recorded by mentioning the date of handing over and the court registrar’s endorsement on the copy, as well as on the original, which is returned immediately.

The copy of the declaration, application or joint application shall, as soon as it has been delivered to the registry, be presented by the registrar to the first president with a view to the formalities of fixing and distribution. The decision of the first president shall be the subject of a simple mention in the margin of the copy.

The court file is attached to that of the court of first instance, which the court clerk requests as soon as the matter is referred to the court.

When the procedure is on a fixed date, the provisions of Article 772 shall be observed.

The Registrar shall immediately notify the lawyers whose constitution is known to him or her of the registration number in the general register, the day and time set by the First President for the appeal of the case and the chamber to which the case is distributed.
