Article 972 of the French Code of civil procedure

If the case is remitted to a court of first instance or if it is to resume before such a court, the file shall be transmitted without delay by the clerk of the court to the clerk of that court.

If there is no appeal against the decision, the file of the court that ruled at first instance shall be returned to the clerk of that court.

In all cases, a copy of the court’s decision shall be attached.

Si l’affaire est renvoyée devant une juridiction de première instance ou si elle doit reprendre son cours devant une telle juridiction, le dossier est transmis sans délai par le greffier de la cour au greffier de cette juridiction.

Si la décision n’est l’objet d’aucun recours, le dossier de la juridiction ayant statué en premier ressort est renvoyé au greffier de cette juridiction.

Dans tous les cas, il est joint une copie de la décision de la cour.
