Articles L122-9 to L122-11 of the new Forestry Code set out the rules for welcoming the public to forests.
The rules relating to agreements between local authorities and their groupings and the owners of woods, parks and natural areas located within their territory with a view to opening said woods, parks and natural areas to the public are laid down by Article L. 113-6 of the town planning code.
