Article R3421-2 of the French Public Health Code

In air transport companies, the aggravated penalties provided for in the third paragraph of Article L. 3421-1 shall apply to staff performing the duties of : -command and control of aircraft ; service on board the engines, machines and various instruments necessary for the navigation of the aircraft; – maintenance of these engines, machines and instruments; -maintenance of these engines, machines and instruments.

Article R3421-3 of the French Public Health Code

In maritime transport companies, the aggravated penalties provided for in the third paragraph of Article L. 3421-1 apply to staff carrying out duties relating to the operation or piloting of ships, maintenance or navigation safety. This provision concerns : -personnel working as seafarers on board ships; personnel employed on board and designated to carry out fire-fighting or ship evacuation duties; -personnel responsible for security on board ships.
