Section 2: Good repute

I. – No person may carry out the functions mentioned in the first paragraph of article L. 212-1 on a paid or voluntary basis, or in articles L. 223-1 and L. 322-7, nor work with minors in the physical activity and sports establishments mentioned in article L. 322-1 if he has been convicted of a crime or one of the offences provided for : 1° Chapter I of Title II…

Any person who, for remuneration or on a voluntary basis, exercises one of the functions of teacher, instructor, educator, trainer or leader of a physical or sporting activity or uses these titles or any other similar title in breach of article L. 212-9 is punishable by one year’s imprisonment and a fine of 15,000 euros.
