It is punishable by six months’ imprisonment and a fine of 9,000 euros for any person to fail to comply with the obligations imposed by articles L. 342-1 to L. 342-3 in respect of transactions in precious materials and banknotes. The materials referred to in articles L. 342-1 to L. 342-3 must be seized and confiscated.
