Chapter II: Protection of minors.

The sale of alcoholic beverages to minors is prohibited. It is also forbidden to offer such drinks free of charge to minors in public houses, shops or other public places. The person offering the drink must require the customer to prove that he or she has reached the age of majority. It is forbidden to admit minors under the age of sixteen who are not accompanied by their father, mother, guardian or any other person over the age of eighteen who is responsible for or supervises them. However, minors over the age of thirteen, even if unaccompanied, may be admitted to licensed 1st category public houses.

A notice setting out the provisions of this Title shall be displayed in on-trade premises. A specific model must be displayed in takeaway outlets. The models and locations for displaying these notices are determined by order of the Minister of Health.
