Chapter II: Combating alcoholism and smoking.

Articles L. 3311-1, L. 3321-1, L. 3322-6, L. 3322-8, L. 3322-9, the first paragraph of Article L. 3336-4, Articles L. 3342-1 to L. 3342-3 of Book III of this Part are applicable in the Territory of the Wallis and Futuna Islands, subject to the adaptation provided for in Article L. 3822-2. For its application in the territory of the Wallis and Futuna Islands, article L. 3311-1 reads as follows: “Art. L. 3311-1. – The State shall organise and coordinate the prevention and treatment of alcoholism. Expenditure incurred by the application of this article shall be borne by the State, without prejudice to any contribution made by the social welfare services towards the cost of hospital treatment. “

The essences mentioned in the first paragraph of article L. 3322-5, as well as essences of wormwood and products assimilated or likely to replace them may not be offered for sale in the territories of the Wallis and Futuna islands.

Title I of Book V of this Part shall apply in the Territory of Wallis and Futuna as amended by Order No 2016-623 of 19 May 2016 transposing Directive 2014/40/EU on the manufacture, presentation and sale of tobacco products and related products, subject to the following adaptations: 1° 5° of Article L. 3511-3 and the second paragraph of Article L. 3515-7 shall not apply; 2° Article L. 3512-4 is amended…
