Victims of acts of terrorism committed on national territory, persons of French nationality who are victims of such acts abroad, including any public official or any member of the armed forces, and their dependants, whatever their nationality, shall be compensated under the conditions set out in articles L. 422-1 to L. 422-3. Compensation may be refused or its amount reduced on the grounds of the victim’s fault.
