In the case provided for in article L. 2224-21, the formal notice is sent to the municipality by the Prefect in the form of an order issued on the report of the Departmental Director of Equipment.
A decree countersigned by the Minister for Infrastructure and the Minister for the Interior may, in accordance with article L. 2224-22, extend the application of the provisions of articles L. 2224-20 et L. 2224-21 to the diversions mentioned in article L. 2224-22.
