The insurance certificate and the provisional certificate must not contain any information other than that provided for in article R. 211-21-2. These documents must also comply with the standards set by the Minister for the Economy.
The certificate or provisional certificate must be affixed to the inside of the vehicle, one side visible from the outside, on the lower right-hand side of the windscreen. For two- or three-wheeled vehicles, the certificate or provisional certificate must be affixed, one side visible from the outside, to a surface located forward of the plane formed by the front forks of the said vehicles.
