Section 2: Payment of contributions by the State or the region.

When a vocational training trainee covered by an employee social security scheme is paid by his or her employer, the State contributes to the employer’s social security contributions in the same proportion as for the remuneration.

The social security contributions of a trainee who is remunerated by the State, the skills operator or the region for the duration of the course, or who is not remunerated at all, are paid in full by the State, the skills operator or the region, as appropriate, in the same way as the funding of the training course.
