Sub-section 5: Accession of a syndicate to a public establishment for inter-municipal cooperation.

Unless there are provisions to the contrary, confirmed by the founding decision, the union’s membership of a public establishment for inter-municipal cooperation is subject to the agreement of the municipal councils of the municipalities that are members of the union, given under the majority conditions provided for in the second paragraph of article L. 5212-2.
