The diplôme d’Etat supérieur de la jeunesse, de l’éducation populaire et du sport (Higher State Diploma in Youth, Popular Education and Sport) is obtained by accumulation of four units defined by order of the ministers responsible for youth and sport, of which : – two are cross-disciplinary, regardless of the speciality ; – two are specific to the specialisation, one of which is specific to a possible option.

The Higher State Diploma in Youth, Popular Education and Sport is prepared : 1° Through initial training, including apprenticeships ; 2° Through continuing education.
