Paragraph 2: Authorisation (R)

The agency, company, association or establishment applying for authorisation to provide the service of transporting a body before committal or transporting a body after committal, as referred to in article L. 2223-19, must produce proof that the vehicle or vehicles used to carry out any of these services comply with the requirements laid down in paragraph 2 of sub-section 4 of this section.

The agency, company, association or establishment applying for authorisation to manage and use a funeral home, referred to in article L. 2223-19, must produce proof that the funeral home complies with the requirements laid down by the articles R. 2223-74 to D. 2223-87.

Any change in the information provided for in article R. 2223-57 must be declared within two months to the prefect who issued the authorisation.

The decision to suspend or withdraw authorisation, provided for by article L. 2223-25, may be taken for a single activity.

The order of the Prefect or the Prefect of Police suspending, withdrawing or terminating the authorisation, in accordance with article L. 2223-25, is published in the Recueil des actes de la préfecture.
