Article R2223-62 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

When the conditions laid down for obtaining authorisation are met by the management company, enterprise, association or establishment, authorisation is granted for a period of five years.

However, when the public service authority, company, association or establishment requests the addition of an additional service referred to in article L. 2223-19 or the management of a crematorium in accordance with article L. 2223-41, the corresponding authorisation is granted for the remaining period of the currently valid authorisation.

Lorsque les conditions prévues pour obtenir l’habilitation sont remplies par la régie, l’entreprise, l’association ou l’établissement, l’habilitation est accordée pour une durée de cinq ans.

Toutefois, lorsque la régie, l’entreprise, l’association ou l’établissement sollicite l’ajout d’une prestation supplémentaire visée à l’article L. 2223-19 ou de la gestion d’un crématorium conformément à l’article L. 2223-41, l’habilitation correspondante est accordée pour le délai restant à courir de l’habilitation en cours de validité.
