Monitoring is the responsibility of the operator and includes any operation to check compliance with the legislative and regulatory provisions relating to the water in question.

Health inspections are carried out by the Director General of the Regional Health Agency. It includes any of the checks mentioned in article R. 1321-15.

Verification of the quality of natural mineral water is carried out according to an analysis programme including the health monitoring and control operations provided for in articles R. 1322-9, R. 1322-39 and R. 1322-40.
