The person responsible for producing, distributing or packaging water, other than spring water, uses products and processes for treating water intended for human consumption that comply with the provisions of article R. 1321-50 . For spring water, the provisions applicable are those of article R. 1321-85.

Applications for authorisation of the laboratories mentioned in II of Article R. 1321-48 and II of Article R. 1321-50 shall be sent to the Minister for Health.
