The creation and constitution of an inter-company occupational health service intended solely to ensure the medical surveillance of caretakers of residential buildings and domestic employees are subject to the rules applicable to inter-company occupational health services as regards both the definition of their territorial jurisdiction and their approval.
If it does not have its own occupational health service, the employer of a caretaker of a residential building or a domestic employee must join an inter-company occupational health service authorised to provide medical surveillance.
Application to join an approved inter-company occupational health service must be made within one month of the first employee joining.
The cost of transporting the employee to and from the inter-company occupational health service is borne by the employer.
The time spent by the employee in complying with medical surveillance obligations is treated as a period of work. This time cannot justify a reduction in remuneration.
The medical file is completed at subsequent visits. At these visits, a new medical fitness form is drawn up and given to the employer and the employee under the same conditions as the initial medical fitness form.
