Article L2134-1 of the French Labour Code

Trade associations may register their trademarks or labels by completing the formalities set out in articles L. 712-1 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code. They may then claim exclusive ownership under the conditions set out in this code. Trademarks or labels may be affixed to any product or commercial object to certify the conditions of manufacture. They may be used by any individual or company marketing these products.

Article L2134-2 of the French Labour Code

The use of trade union brands or labels may not have the effect of undermining the provisions of articles L. 2141-5 to L. 2141-8. Any agreement or provision tending to oblige the employer to hire or retain in his service only members of the trade union that owns the mark or label is null and void.
