Notwithstanding the provisions of article 1242, appeals against the deliberations of the family council of wards of the State shall be lodged by petition signed by a lawyer and delivered or sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt to the registry of the court of appeal. The procedure provided for in articles 1244 to 1245-1 shall apply.
The application relating to the appeal against the order of admission as a ward of the State provided for in articles L. 224-4 et L. 224-8 du code de l’action sociale et des familles shall be brought before the judicial court within whose jurisdiction the order is made.
