Where applicable, expenditure relating to the revenu de solidarité active (active solidarity income) and the allocation personnalisée d’autonomie (personalised autonomy allowance) are tracked in an individualised chapter of the metropolitan authority’s budget. .

When voting on the budget or an amending decision, the Metropolitan Council may vote on programme authorisations and commitment authorisations for unforeseen expenditure in the investment section and the operating section respectively.
