Section 1: Organisation and operation of the national plant variety authority

The person in charge of missions falling within the remit of the national plant variety authority is required to maintain secrecy on everything that has come to his knowledge in the performance of his duties.

Revenue and expenditure relating to the performance of tasks falling within the remit of the national plant variety authority are identifiable within the budget and accounts of the public interest grouping mentioned in article L. 412-1.

Expenses relating to the performance of the duties of the national plant variety authority are made up of: operating and equipment expenses, including those relating to the remuneration and travel expenses of the staff assigned to it; technical examination expenses and, where applicable, the costs of setting up reference collections.
