Trailers that began to be shown before the work or document received its cinema licence are accompanied by a warning inviting viewers to check which category of audience they are intended for.

Where the cinematographic exhibition licence includes a specific ban on representation, this must be clearly, intelligibly and conspicuously stated on all trailers, posters or advertisements for the work or document, regardless of how they are distributed.

When a work or document for which the cinematographic licence includes a specific ban on showing is shown in cinematographic theatres, the words “film forbidden to minors under twelve”, “film forbidden to minors under sixteen” or “film forbidden to minors under eighteen” must be clearly, intelligibly and conspicuously displayed on the media intended to inform the public about screenings in the establishment.

When a work or document is shown in cinemas, the warning attached to the cinematographic licence must be clearly, intelligibly and conspicuously displayed in public view at the entrance to the cinema.

When a work or a document for which the cinematographic licence includes a specific ban on representation is published in the form of a videogram intended for private use by the public, this fact must be clearly, intelligibly and conspicuously stated on each of the copies published and offered for rental or sale, as well as on their packaging.

When a work or document is made available to the public at a time chosen by the user upon individual request made by an electronic communication process, the recipient is warned in advance in a clear, intelligible and visible manner of the specific prohibition on representation contained in the cinematographic exhibition licence.

When a work or document is broadcast on a television service, the public is warned in advance in a clear, intelligible and visible manner, both when the work or document is broadcast and in the programme announcements broadcast by the press and radio and television services or by any other means, of the specific prohibition on representation contained in the cinematographic exhibition licence.

When a work or document is broadcast on a television service, the public is informed in advance in a clear, intelligible and visible manner of the warning attached to the cinematographic licence.
