The Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution or, where applicable, the Autorité des marchés financiers shall cooperate closely with the other competent authorities to ensure that the sanctions or measures it has adopted pursuant to Articles L. 633-12 and L. 633-13 are effective.

Where the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution is the supervisory authority referred to in Article L. 633-14, it shall consult the other competent authorities concerned and implement the guidelines developed through the Joint Committee of European Supervisory Authorities.

The cooperation between competent authorities provided for in Articles L. 633-5 and L. 633-6 is carried out under the following conditions: 1° Without prejudice to their respective responsibilities, the competent authorities and the coordinator shall communicate, on their own initiative, any essential information or, upon request, any useful information enabling these authorities to exercise their prudential functions, in the context of the supplementary supervision of financial conglomerates. Pursuant to Article L. 633-7, the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution or, where applicable, the Autorité des marchés financiers, as coordinator, shall provide the Joint Committee of European Supervisory Authorities with the information defined in a, 1° of Article R. 633-4.
