Subsection 2: Specific measures applicable to the provision of services

Where it is found that a service does not comply with the regulations in force adopted pursuant to Book IV, the authorised agents may order that it be brought into conformity, within a period that they shall set.This bringing into conformity may concern the products and equipment made available to consumers as part of the provision of services.

In the event of serious or immediate danger, the administrative authority may suspend by order the provision of services referred to in article L. 521-19 until it is brought into line with current regulations.

The costs resulting from the implementation of the measures provided for in articles L. 521-19 and L. 521-20 shall be borne by the service provider.

Any measure taken pursuant to articles L. 521-19 and L. 521-20 may require the service provider to display, in a place visible from outside the place where the service is provided, all or part of this measure.

In the event of serious or immediate danger and where the provision of services is not regulated pursuant to Book IV, the administrative authority shall take the necessary emergency measures by order. Any measure taken pursuant to article L. 521-23 may require the service provider to display, in a place visible from outside the place where the service is provided, all or part of this measure.

The provisions of article L. 521-17 apply to the provision of services. The provision of services may be suspended under the conditions set out in this article.
