In the absence of adaptation, references made, by provisions of the articles mentioned in Article L. 252-1, to provisions which are not applicable in the Wallis and Futuna Islands, in particular with regard to insurance and mutual insurance, are replaced by references to provisions with the same purpose applicable locally.
