Subsection 10: Unjustified geographical blocking

An administrative fine of up to €15,000 for a natural person and up to €75,000 for a legal person shall be imposed for failure to comply with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2018/302 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 February 2018 on addressing unjustified geographic blocking and other forms of discrimination based on the nationality, residence or place of establishment of customers in the internal market…

Any professional who disregards the prohibitions set out in 1° to 3° of article L. 121-23 is punishable by an administrative fine of up to 15,000 euros for a natural person and 75,000 euros for a legal entity. This fine is imposed under the conditions laid down in Chapter II of Title II of Book V.
