The period mentioned in article L. 213-1 is set at ten years from the conclusion of the contract where delivery of the goods or performance of the service is immediate. In all other cases, the period runs from the conclusion of the contract until the date of delivery of the goods or performance of the service and for a period of ten years thereafter.
