Article R512-39 of the French Consumer Code
The order referred to in article L. 512-52 sets out the remedies available to the occupier of the premises or his representative.

The order referred to in article L. 512-52 sets out the remedies available to the occupier of the premises or his representative.
The reports describe the visit and record the findings. They are drawn up immediately. They include an inventory of the items and documents seized. These reports are signed by the authorised agents, by the judicial police officer responsible for attending the operations and, as appropriate, by the occupier of the premises, his representative or the two witnesses required in accordance with article L. 512-57.
A copy of the report is given to the occupier of the premises or their representative.In their absence, a copy of the report is sent, after the visit, to the manager of the company or organisation concerned, by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.
Seized exhibits and documents may not be used against interested parties until they have been given the opportunity to acquaint themselves with them.
