Sub-paragraph 2: Authorisation

Any training organisation wishing to set up training sessions preparing for the professional certificate, professional diploma, State diploma and higher State diploma for youth, popular education and sport (CPJEPS, BPJEPS, DEJEPS, DESJEPS) must first be accredited by the rector of the academic region where the main training venue is located. The authorisation of the training body is issued by the rector of the academic region for a period of five years on the basis of a file that meets the requirements of the specifications mentioned in article R. 212-10-11, enabling him to assess the training body’s ability to provide training that complies with the regulations for the diploma being prepared and its ability to offer guarantees of success.

This accreditation is issued : – for a diploma, in a speciality and an option ; – for a complementary certificate. The authorisation decision specifies the conditions for organising the requirements prior to entry into training and the certification tests, which may or may not be delegated to the authorised training body.

At the request of the accredited training organisation, submitted to the rector of the academic region at least six months before the expiry date of the accreditation, the rector may renew the accreditation for a further five years after ensuring that: 1° That the commitments made at the time of the application for accreditation have been met; 2° That the file complying with the specifications has been kept up to…

In the event of non-compliance with any of the obligations laid down in articles R. 212-10-11 to R. 212-10-13, the rector of the academic region may proceed : 1° Suspend the authorisation of the training body.
