Section 2: Formalising requirements through technical specifications

The provisions of articles R. 2111-7 and R. 2111-8 apply.

The technical specifications are chosen by reference to standards or other equivalent documents available to candidates. The provisions of articles R. 2111-10 and R. 2111-11 apply.

The formulation of technical specifications must not prevent compliance with mandatory national technical rules, including those relating to product safety, or with technical requirements intended to guarantee the interoperability required by international standardisation agreements to which France is a signatory.
