Subsection 1: Prior information notices and periodic indicative notices of purchasers' intention to award a contract

Article R2131-1 of the French Public procurement code

The purchaser may make known his intention to award a contract by publishing, in the case of the contracting authority, a prior information notice, or, in the case of the contracting entity, a periodic indicative notice.These notices shall be drawn up in accordance with the models set out in the European Commission Regulation establishing standard forms for the publication of notices in the framework of the award of contracts.
