Chapter V: Continuity of care in ambulatory medicine.

Continuity of patient care is guaranteed whatever the circumstances. When doctors withdraw from their duty of care for professional or personal reasons, they must inform their patients of the colleague they can contact in their absence. The Conseil Départemental de l’Ordre ensures that the obligation of continuity of care is respected and informs the Director General of the Regional Health Agency.
